Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for full-time day-to-day site protection in Danville, IL. The officer will patrol, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

Requirements include being 18+, a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service and communication skills. Prior security/military experience is a plus; training and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Security Officer - Full Time

Site Location: Danville, IL

Wage : $19.00/HR

Schedule : 1st & 2nd shift

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
