A leading medical center is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include conducting patrols, intervening in conflicts, and ensuring property protection. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and excellent communication skills. Experience in security or healthcare is preferred.
Statement of Purpose:
Security will work as a team to maintain a secure and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Conduct patrols and other security duties in order to protect life and property of all persons and hospital premises against fire, theft and vandalism. Will intervene in situations with combative individuals and defusing potentially violent behavior.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Certification / License: CPR & Successful completion for Management of Aggressive Behavior (M.O.A.B.) certification within 30 days of hire. Active Driver’s License required.
Experience: 1 year experience in Security & or Health Care Experience preferred.
Must be comfortable working with computer software for daily documentation. Excellent communication skills a must.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
