Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a part-time Security Officer at our Willow Grove, PA site. This role offers reliable hours, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You''ll perform customer service tasks, patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and the option to increase hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points, observe store activity, and report security-related incidents to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with customers, employees, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Officer in Willow Grove, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe store activity, and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with customers, employees, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
