Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Wheatland, WY. The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment through access control, patrolling, and enforcing site directives.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and remain calm. Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check is required.

Qualifications

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and visitors.
• Monitor premises and enforce site directives.
• Conduct access control and post orders as assigned.
• Report safety issues and suspicious activity promptly.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices used on shift.
• Conduct property tours as required.

Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Wheatland, WY

Wage:$16.62/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
