MaineGuide seeks detail-oriented Security Officers to work in a fast-paced facility. You will respond to security issues, verify identities at entry, and interact calmly with a diverse range of people while ensuring all requirements are met.

This is a part-time, in-person role with Saturday shifts 6am–6pm. Proficiency with computers and CCTV is required to monitor premises, supervise security staff, and report any unusual activity to security dispatch.

We're looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as solve problems. Our Security Officers are required to respond to any security issues as well as check and verify the identities of individuals entering our facility. We're looking for Security Officers who work well with a wide range of people and demonstrate patience and a can-do attitude, while making sure all requirements are met. This is a work alone position which requires proficient use of computers and CCTV equipment.

SCHEDULE Saturdays 6am-6pm

Responsibilities:

• Exercise good judgment and develop security plans, strategies, and procedures.
• Monitor security systems to ensure that the company's property is secure, and the desired conditions are being achieved.
• Supervise security personnel, such as guards and watchmen.
• Monitor the presence of unauthorized persons, vehicles, or activity on company property.
• Report any unusual findings or activity to security dispatch.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
