Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Access Control Security Officer on the 2nd shift (Wed-Sat, 3pm-11pm). You will monitor premises with security camera systems, report incidents, and assist visitors while upholding safety protocols.

No prior experience required—training provided. CPR certification is encouraged, and you must be comfortable with technology. We offer weekly pay, health/dental/vision, growth opportunities, and an employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR certified or willing to become certified.
• Familiar with technology and able to operate security camera software.
• Excellent customer service and observant security mindset.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at client sites to ensure safety and property protection.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking; may involve stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds occasionally as part of security duties.

Security Officer/Guard:

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
