About the Role

Security Officers act as a visual deterrent and intervene and respond to all levels of security and potential emergency needs, including acts or threats of violence, emergencies, and life safety threats. The position requires specialized training and physical conditioning. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the exterior.
• Check ID of all incoming patrons entering the sportsbook.
• Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve complaints involving guests and employees.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
• Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, guest or employee accidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Act as dispatcher to relay information, messages and/or emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two‑way radios.
• Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries.
• Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene, advising personnel of threats, summoning emergency responders, and initiating evacuation procedures.
• Attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR/AED training/drill as a condition of employment.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Valid driver license.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
• Ability to gain and maintain a Gaming License through the proper regulatory bodies as a condition of hire and continued employment.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $14.23 to $21.25. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan. Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for the company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship.
