Not only is customer service a part of their job description, as they are the first to greet visitors who come into the facilities but so is handling confrontations and providing issue management and support. The variety of security and safety related tasks encompass the safeguarding of employees, patients, visitors, providers and property, and they include responding to alarms, emergency requests, de-escalation tactics, and resolving safety incidents. At times, it will be expected that Security Officers manage agitated or aggressive patients or visitors.**Primary Department, Division, or Unit:**Security Services, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital**Work Shift and Schedule:**This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis.
