Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Superior, WI. The position offers a hourly wage of $18.75 with a 40-hour work week, including Sat-Sun and night shifts.

You will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, enforcing access control, and patrolling multiple locations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently while staying calm

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce access control.
• Patrol assigned sites and report safety issues.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate escalation.
• Provide information and assistance to employees and guests.
• Conduct post orders and complete rounds as assigned.
• Utilize technology devices during shifts.
• Carry out tours of the property.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Superior, WI

Wage: $18.75/HR

Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week

• Sat - Sun: 3PM - 11PM & Mon - Wed 11PM - 7AM

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe driving certification.
