Overview

Security Officer (South Carolina Area Branch)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.

Qualifications / Skills

• Customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.

Requirements

• Pre-employment: must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
