Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Sterling, VA to monitor and safeguard clients across production facilities and offices. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and verify access at entry points using computers or tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and surrounding areas to deter incidents and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and incident reports and communicate effectively with team.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional and orderly location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
