Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Security Officer to help keep guests and team members safe while delivering friendly, professional service. The role requires standing and moving throughout shifts, checking IDs, responding to incidents, and reporting hazards. CPR/AED training is provided, and a valid gaming license may be required.

The position is part-time with schedule including weekends, and offers benefits and opportunities within a leading entertainment destination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• CPR/AED training provided.
• Must obtain/maintain valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Respond to medical requests as primary or secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and procedures.
• Check identification to ensure guest is over 21.
• Performs fills, credit, exchanges and marker transfers as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• Stand and move actively throughout the shift.
• Life and/or move up to 40 pounds as required.

As a Security Officer you will:

Pay: $17.00 per hour| Shift: Part-time

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Must respond to all medical request as either the primary or the secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guest and employees on directions and proper procedures.
• Ability to check identification to ensue a guest is over the age of 21.
• Performs fills, credit, exchanges and marker transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• This postions will require you to be standing and actively moving duration of your shift.
• In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift.
• You will be required to help assist guest and their needs.
• Our security team must be able to life and/or move up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles as needed.
• Must have the ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
• Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
• Must be able to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
