Job summary

Security America, Inc. is seeking full-time Security Officers for 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to walk and stand for long periods, communicate clearly, and meet licensing requirements.

New hire bonus of $150 after 90 days for full-time staff; competitive benefits include health, vision, IRA options, paid vacation and holidays. Must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and be vaccine compliant.

Qualifications

• Must be Covid-19 vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• Be at least 18 years of age; be able to work flexible schedules.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or 10 years of verifiable work experience.
• Criminal history, employment verification and references checks, registered sex-offender search, and driver’s license validation.
• Be drug free and able to pass a drug screen (unless undergoing documented medical treatment).
• Have access to reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.; meet state licensing requirements for Security Officers, if required.

Responsibilities

• Walk/stand for extended periods and report infractions and incidents in writing or verbally.
• Effectively communicate with staff using a phone or handheld radio.
• Provide dependable security services and respond quickly to incidents.
• Report health and safety concerns to the Supervisor and follow established procedures.
