Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ability to deal with customers and employees with patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Promote guest satisfaction by responding to inquiries.
• Observe RV parking, parking areas and accessible buildings.
• Provide assistance to all departments and Resort guests.
• Report any unusual activity to the Sergeant on duty immediately.
• Provide basic Fire Fighting, First Aid and safety response.
• Complete daily logs, incident reports and legal documents.
• File accurate reports concerning guests, employees or themselves.
• Operate company vehicles as directed.
• Drive shuttles for guests and employees.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and follow safety rules.
• Follow policies and procedures; manage stationary security posts.
• Ensure customers are of legal age in designated areas.
• Participate in slot drop requiring lifting and bending, frequent kneeling.

Salary Range: $19.33 - $19.33 Hourly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to deal with customers and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve problems and concerns
• Promote guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries
• Observe all RV parking and all parking areas as well as all accessible buildings on the property
• Provide assistance to every department within organization as well as Resort guests
• Casino Security Officers will report any unusual activity, occurrence, or incidents on the part of any guest or employee of 7 Cedars Resort to the Sergeant on duty immediately
• Provide basic Fire Fighting, First Aid and safety response
• Completes all required daily logs, incident reports and other legal documents
• Casino Security Officers shall file accurate and truthful reports concerning guest, employees, or themselves
• Operates company vehicles as directed to do so
• Drive shuttles for both guests and employees
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations
• Follow all general and department policies and procedures
• Ability to man stationary Security posts
• Ensure customer are of legal age in designated areas
• Partake in the slot drop which requires ability to push around large carts with a secondary person, bending over and twisting as well as ability to be able to go from standing to kneeling positions on a regular basis

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Dispatching and 2-way radio skills preferred
• One-year public relations and casino security experience preferred
• Knowledge of safety/security practices and procedures including: emergency situations, First Aid, CPR, emergency evacuation, defibrillator, and basic fire equipment
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
• Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
