PENN Entertainment is hiring for a Security position at Retama Park Racetrack. The role involves patrolling the racetrack premises, responding to disturbances, and ensuring guest safety while maintaining privacy and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will hold a TXRC Level 2 Security license, CPR certification, and be available for nights and weekends. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess and maintain a TXRC Level 2 Security license.
• CPR certification and Bloodborne Pathogen training.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent customer service, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English with strong writing abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide continuous patrol by foot and vehicle of the racetrack surroundings to address security concerns.
• Respond to disturbances and alarms to ensure a safe, secure environment for guests and team members.
• Operate Security Dispatch; maintain logs and key control.
• Prepare detailed security reports and assist leadership with investigations.

• Adheres to all departmental and company policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Provides continuous patrol by foot and vehicle of the racetrack surrounding areas owned by the company as needed to address any suspicious activity or other concerns.
• Responds to all disturbances and alarms to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and team members.
• Addresses any type of medical situation on property and ensures proper emergency contacts are notified if necessary.
• Operates Security Dispatch as needed, including but not limited to maintaining key control, and maintaining all logs required in the Dispatch Center.
• Provides superior guest experience through consistent, positive interactions; has the resiliency to deal with the difficult customer.
• Assists leadership and prepares detailed reports on Security
• Related incidents that occur on company property.
• Attends all departmental, company, and safety/first aid training programs as scheduled.
• Performs all functions of Fire Safety Officer, including monitoring of surveillance equipment, alarms, video multiplexers, and intercom system according to established procedures.
• May assist in the handling of horses.
• Checks identification of all persons that appear to be under 21 years of age.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

• Must possess and maintain a driver’s license.
• Must have or obtain TXRC and Level 2 Security licenses, CPR certification, and Bloodborne Pathogen training.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent customer service, communication, conflict resolution, mediation, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong writing skills and the ability to prepare clear, accurate reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to identify and respond quickly to conflicts, handle emergencies, remain calm under pressure, and protect oneself and others in combative situations.
• Physically able to run on level surfaces and navigate stairs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively, resolve issues diplomatically, and maintain a proactive, high-energy approach.
