Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a part-time Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and property at Swedish Ballard. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and document observations while delivering high levels of customer service in a hospital setting.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's Degree and security/military experience, with training in BLS, TASER and defensive tactics. The role offers on-site work and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• TASER Training completed within 180 days of hire.
• AVADE/HDTS Healthcare Defensive Tactics Training within 180 days.
• Customer service experience and/or training.

Required Qualifications

• Within 90 days of hire: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (Facility Managed)
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Successful completion of TASER Training - annual re-certification (Facility Managed)
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Successful completion of AVADE/HDTS (Healthcare Defensive Tactics System) Training (Facility Managed)
• Customer service experience and/or training

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• 1 year of related civilian or military security/law enforcement experience
• Healthcare security experience
