Qualifications

• Requires 18+ years old and a High School diploma or GED.
• Above average computer/technology skills are needed.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and ability to lead a team are essential.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under stress.
• Must respond effectively to emergencies with sound judgment.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control and patrolling duties.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Utilize technology devices and security systems during shifts.
• Conduct property tours and respond to incidents as needed.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Sauget, IL

Wage Range: $17.00-$18.50/HR

2nd & 3rd Shifts Available!!

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have a valid Drivers License.
