Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Volo, IL is seeking a Professional Security Officer to join our full-time team. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple sites to maintain a safe, secure environment.

You will uphold client standards and report hazards and irregularities responsibly. The position offers $23.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Must have attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.
• FA, CPR, and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage: $23.00/HR

1st / 2nd Split Shift

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

• 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• FA, CPR, and AED certification.
• Security experience preferred.
