Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring for an Unarmed Security Officer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas site in San Antonio, TX. The role is full-time on-site with 40 hours per week and a morning shift. Offers include a $50 sign-on bonus for active Guard Card holders after 90 days.

You will greet residents and guests, verify credentials, monitor access, and protect people and property. The position requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma, valid licensing, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing required.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and remove trespassers when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and log visitors and notify residents of arrivals.
• Protect people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or other crimes.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior/exterior perimeter to identify safety risks.
• Warn violators of infractions.
• Respond to distress, alarms, or emergencies by contacting responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
• Enforce all rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Security Officer $17.50 per hour

1st Shift - 40 Hours Per Week

Monday & Friday: 5:00am - 1:00pm

Saturday & Sunday: 5:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday - Friday: OFF

$50 Sign-On Bonus – Active Guard Card & Licensed? Officers who join with an active Guard Card on file will receive a $50 Sign-On Bonus, paid out upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
