Mercy General Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to maintain safety by patrolling assigned areas, deter and investigate suspicious activity, and monitor electronic surveillance and emergency systems. Dispatching personnel via radio and responding to alarms are essential daily tasks.
You will protect staff, patients, and visitors, follow hospital codes, and log all actions. The role requires vigilance, strong observation, and commitment to the hospital’s values in a secure environment.
As our Security Officer, you will maintain the highest level of safety and security by patrolling assigned areas, diligently deterring, detecting, and investigating suspicious activity or crime.
Every day you will effectively monitor electronic surveillance equipment and hospital emergency systems, dispatch appropriate personnel via radio, and actively patrol to protect individuals and property, all while embodying our core values and supporting strategic quality improvement.
