Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Security Officers in Reno, NV (USA Parkway). We offer Full Time, Part Time, and Flex positions with a wage range of $16.00–$20.00/HR.

Responsibilities include patrols, customer service, and reporting safety issues, with growth opportunities and training provided. Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and committed to integrity and vigilance. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
