As a Security Officer in Port Isabel, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
