Job summary

Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to help ensure a safe, tranquil stay for guests and associates by enforcing hotel policies and recording incidents. You will observe, report, and respond to security matters while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires standing and patrolling the property, clear radio communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• Red Cross and First Aid Certified is preferred.
• Able to work am, pm, overnights, weekends, and holidays; shifts vary and flexibility is needed.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and/or lift up to 50 lbs during shift.
• Record and report any unsafe conditions while patrolling hotel property.

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and tranquil stay of hotel guests and employees, to enforce the policies and procedures of the hotel and to record in writing any assigned task. Prepare incident and accident reports accurately and in the format specified. Other security and safety tasks as required by Dept Manager.
