Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Owasso, OK is seeking a variable shift, full-time Security Officer to protect life and property across hospital premises. You will patrol buildings and grounds, secure entrances, and respond to security needs of staff, patients, and visitors in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

We value a clean safety record, active CLEET armed guard license, and certifications such as BLS, OC/pepper spray, and crisis intervention training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid ARMED Guard CLEET License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Annual CLEET requalification handgun & shotgun required by a CLEET certified instructor
• Maintains OC/Pepper Spray certification
• Upholds Crisis Intervention Training from SAMA - SATORI and obtains certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Protects life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Medical Center premises and patrols hospital buildings and grounds.
• Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.
• Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
• This position is safety sensitive and requires vigilance and professionalism.
