Securitas, Inc. seeks a Full Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at our Omaha client sites. The role emphasizes access control, patrols, and professional conduct to protect people and property.

You will respond to incidents, monitor activity, and provide customer service to employees and guests while following post orders and safety procedures. This is a hands-on position requiring alert and reliable team players.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with diverse clients.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce regulations for client sites and control access at the gate.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Omaha, NE

Wage Range: $17.00-$19.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct heavy foot patrols of the property while also conducting access control duties at the truck gate.
• Will work alongside a fellow officer.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Strong communication skills needed.
