Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Olathe, KS. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure environment for clients through access control, patrols, and adherence to site rules while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, post order compliance, and reporting hazards. The position requires strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work under pressure. Training and uniforms are provided.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Olathe, KS

Wage Range: $18.50-$21.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
