Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Floating Security Officer to cover multiple client sites from Topeka, KS. The role emphasizes vigilance, access control, and patrolling to maintain a safe environment.

You will monitor entrances, report hazards, and enforce site rules while delivering professional customer service and teamwork across shifts. Compensation ranges from $14 to $21 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Must have attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Able to respond to emergencies with sound judgment and escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Floating Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Topeka, KS

Wage Range: $14.00-$21.00/HR

The Floating Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
