Position Overview

As an Experienced Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the protection and safety of employees, visitors, and company assets at our Seattle location. This role requires the ability to respond to security incidents with professionalism, accuracy, and sound judgment.

⚠️ Please note: Prior security experience is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• 🔹 Protect personnel, inventory, and premises in a secure facility
• 🔹 Monitor and control access to the building and restricted areas
• 🔹 Enforce security policies and procedures professionally and consistently
• 🔹 Conduct regular patrols and security checks
• 🔹 Maintain active firearm certification (must re-qualify annually)
• 🔹 Complete detailed incident and shift reports
• 🔹 Communicate clearly and act decisively during emergencies
• 🔹 Serve as a professional and reassuring presence

Required Qualifications

• ✔ High school diploma or GED (Criminal Justice degree a plus)
• ✔ Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience required (Military or law enforcement background preferred)
• ✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills
• ✔ Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• ✔ Willingness to participate in ongoing training and annual re-certifications

💲 Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 (Base pay may vary depending on experience, region, and internal equity)
