The New York Power Authority seeks a security professional responsible for day-to-day access control, patrols, and safety compliance at the facility. You will log entries, conduct searches, inspect safety equipment, and participate in drills to protect personnel and assets.
Responsibilities include CCTV monitoring, incident documentation, and coordination with multiple departments to maintain secure, compliant operations. Relevant licenses and certifications are required.
Involves developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, and to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace.
Monitors work sites, surveillance, inspections, and security enforcement for NYPA. Ensures distribution and monitoring of materials and equipment requirements are followed, along with guidelines and instructions to minimize employee risk on site. Ensure security and access procedures are followed.
The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is $52,240 - $78,360. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
