New York Power Authority (NYPA) seeks an electrical engineer to provide engineering expertise and direction for equipment and control systems used in generation and transmission of electric power, and for customer utilization systems. You will develop solutions across generation, transmission, or customer sites, ensuring quality, safety, reliability, maintainability, timeliness, and performance.
Responsibilities include field visits, support for design modifications, and coordinating with other
rovide electrical engineering expertise and direction for equipment and control systems utilized in utility generation and transmission of electric power (high-, medium-, and low-voltage power, metering, control, security, and fire alarm systems), and customer utilization electrical systems (medium- and low-voltage power, metering, control, and fire alarm systems). Develop solutions for electrical power and control systems in generation, transmission, or customer utilization sites as assigned. Ensure that standards of quality, economics, safety, reliability, maintainability, timeliness, and performance are met through all assigned engineering activities.
The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $96,000 - $120,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
