Sugpiat Defense, a division of Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. (AKI), has a requirement for qualified and skilled Armed Security Officers to provide security services in support of the EPA Atlantic Coastal Environmental Sciences Division (ACESD). The Armed Security Officer will provide site protection, foot patrols, access control, and electronic surveillance services at the U.S. Government-owned facility located at 27 Tarzwell Drive, Narragansett, Rhode Island 02882.
The Armed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment and providing a visible deterrent against unauthorized or illegal activities directed toward U.S. Government employees, visitors, information, programs, facilities, and property.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and hear. The employee may be required to stand or walk for prolonged periods while conducting patrols and performing other security-related duties.
