Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer — Full Time at the Longview, WA site. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, and controlling access to maintain a safe environment, with a 4‑day on/off rotating schedule from 6pm to 6am.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service and observational skills. Pre-employment screenings apply; training and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience a plus.
• Able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Longview, WA

Wage: $17.13/HR

Schedule: 4 day on/off rotating schedule, 6pm-6am

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
