Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time position at our Kansas City, KS site. You will patrol premises, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and observational skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering excellent customer service. Training, paid time off, health benefits, and weekly pay are offered.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
