Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is seeking an Evening shift Security Officer for a full-time role at our Oklahoma campus. You will patrol the hospital grounds, manage access points, and respond as a first responder to incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and staff as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CLEET Armed Security Officer certification.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• IAHSS Basic level certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Maintain annual firearm and handcuffing certification.
• OC gel spray certification.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is a 30-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, emergency, women's services, general surgery, rehabilitation, withdrawal stabilization and surgery.
• Patrol hospital grounds to provide sufficient protection to employees, patients, and visitors, as well as institutional property .
• Direct and controls vehicular traffic to ensure means of access to and exit from the institution .
• Act as the first responder to requests for assistance in security-related matters and facilities' initiation of emergency and disaster procedures in a timely and efficient manner .
• Interact with law enforcement, patients, visitors, and staff to investigate security and related incidents to ensure the most appropriate follow-up action is taken.
• Properly document daily activities and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner .
• Maintain composure during high stress, emergency, or uncommon conditions to achieve the security mission of protecting the safety of those on hospital grounds .
• Sustain working relationships and cooperation with other security personnel and outside law enforcement to maximize and enhance the Security Program at Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta .
• Escort personnel to and from parking lots or between buildings as requested .

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CLEET Armed Security Officer.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• IAHSS Basic level (within 6 months of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• CPI (within 90 days of hire)
• Maintain annual firearm and handcuffing certification
• OC gel spray certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year of security experience.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients, visitors, staff, contractors, governmental agencies, and vendors.
• Ability to confront adverse and potentially hostile situations and resolve tactfully and safely.
• Skill and ability to make quick decisions and apply safety and security knowledge in emergencies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
