Job summary

HAP Alaska Yukon is seeking Security Officers to support day-to-day physical security at hotel and employee housing facilities. You will be expected to be highly organized, thorough, and able to make independent decisions under pressure to protect staff and guests.

The role involves handling incidents such as intoxicated individuals, medical emergencies, safety escorts, and performing routine security rounds while upholding our core values of service excellence, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Support day-to-day operations related to physical security at the hotel and employee housing.
• Maintain organization and thoroughness to ensure staff and guest safety.
• Ability to make independent decisions in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and guest safety through proactive security rounds.
• Respond to intoxicated guests or employees and manage emergency situations.
• Conduct safety escorts and monitor security at hotel and employee housing.

Security Officers must be extremely organized and thorough in their approach to ensure staff and guest safety, and able to independently make decisions as to the best possible projected outcome in stressful

situations. Security Officers are expected to be the example of our core values in action at all times. Challenges may include intoxicated guests/employees, emergency medical situations, safety escorts, or general security round completion.
