Job summary

Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard assets and ensure a safe, welcoming casino environment for guests and staff. The role includes escorting chips and cash, checking credentials to prevent unauthorized access, and promptly responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard property assets and ensure a safe, secure casino environment for patrons and employees.
• Escort chips, cash, and table game drops; check credentials to prevent unauthorized access to the gaming floor.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and report any criminal or suspicious activity.
• Initiate and prepare security incident reports daily; greet guests and maintain a friendly, inviting atmosphere.

TheSECURITY OFFICERforIsland View Casino & Beach Resortis responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the casino environment is safe and secure for patrons and employees of the casino, as well as being responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets and is required to greetinternal and external guests, maintaina friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotepositive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.TheSecurity Officer is also responsible for escortingchips, cash, and table game drops, ensures that no unauthorized persons enter the gaming floor by checking credentials/Identification.Quickly responds to any emergency situation as required, reports any criminal or suspicious activity and will be required to Initiateand preparesecurity incident reports daily.
