Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring security professionals for sites including outdoor shopping center properties, offering a trusted, well-established environment. The role focuses on patrols, access control, customer service and incident response across shifts.

Candidates should meet basic qualifications, be able to pass background checks and drug screening, and comfortably perform extensive foot patrols and physical tasks in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to acquire and maintain Illinois PERC and state training requirements.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform patrols, stairs and weather exposure.
• Extensive weekend patrols on Saturdays/Sundays and weekdays on other shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor client sites by vehicle and foot.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, tenants and vendors.
• Maintain front desk logs with details on people and property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors and vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and perform patrols to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document events for management.

Responsibilities

• Patrol/ Rover Position - Monitor site by continuous vehicle and foot patrol of client outdoor shopping center property.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Must be comfortable with walking, and doing extensive foot patrols two times per shift on weekends, and three times per shift on weekdays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

Pay and Benefits

• Positions starting at $19.00 / Sat & Sun: 1000-2000, Mon & Tue: 1000-1800, Wed: 1600-0000
