Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a Security Officer in Evansville, Indiana to enforce policies and IGC rules, monitor alarms, and protect guests and assets. The role requires patrolling the property, dispatching officers, and handling drop boxes with strict safety protocols.

The position involves shift work, including holidays and weekends, in a 24/7 casino environment. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and have knowledge of Indiana Gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods (7+ hours).
• Knowledge of Indiana Gaming regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Enforces company policies and IGC rules.
• Prepares reports and security logs; dispatches officers as required.
• Monitors fire alarm systems and liaises with internal and external contacts.
• Escorts cash and patrons as directed; transports drop boxes to storage.
• Administers first aid and responds to emergencies per safety protocols.
• Patrols perimeter and entire property; may ride a mountain bike during shifts.
• Ensures compliance with safety, weather, and crowd conditions.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Enforces company policies/procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls & Indiana Gaming Commission rules/ regulations
• Prepares reports and Security logs, dispatches Security Officers to assignments as required
• Monitors fire alarm systems, dispatches appropriate internal contacts and external agencies
• Escorts checks, tokens, cash, and patrons as directed
• Collects and transports drop boxes to the storage / holding area
• Administers first aid when required
• Must respond to emergency situations when required and report to emergency duty stations as directed by management following property safety protocols.
• Reports all designated activities to the Supervisor/appropriate authority
• Must be able to patrol the perimeter and entire property.
• May be required to ride a mountain bike style bicycle for a sustained period of time (1-2-hour intervals throughout an 8-hour shift).
• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs.
• Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds. Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequently required to sit and occasionally climb, balance, stoop or kneel.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

Work Environment:

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.

Target Salary Range:

Hourly $17.00
