Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer to join our team in Eau Claire, WI. The role involves monitoring premises, managing access control, and patrolling to maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors.

This full-time position offers a structured schedule (Thurs - Sat 0600-1600, Sun 1600-2400) and a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. Candidates should have HS diploma/GED and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must stay calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Professional demeanor required.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and escalation.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing site regulations for personnel, visitors and areas.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required for assigned site.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
