Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for full and part-time shifts in Madison, WI.

The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe. The position offers a wage range of $21.00-$25.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver;s license and clean driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
