Securitas, Inc. in Eagle Grove, IA is seeking a Security Officer for full-time hours. You will monitor premises, enforce regulations, perform access control and patrol multiple sites to maintain a safe environment for our clients.

Qualified applicants are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and vigilance, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. The role offers a competitive wage of $17.66 per hour plus benefits, with pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check.
• Clear driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
