Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a Full-Time SOC Officer to cover weekend and midweek rotations in South Florida. The role requires monitoring client sites, coordinating responses, and delivering concierge‑level security with a strong customer service focus.

Position includes approximately three weeks of hands-on training, a rotating schedule, and benefits such as medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement options. Immediate start is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Two years of customer service experience and one year of verifiable security experience.
Dispatch/Communications experience in a security or 911 call center environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control from the SOC.
Dispatch officers and coordinate response to alarms/incidents.
Respond to distress or emergencies by contacting police/firey responders.
Prepare clear incident reports and logs.
Operate SOC monitoring platforms and security software.
Maintain professional demeanor and clear communication.
Manage multiple alerts in a high-pressure environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Full-Time SOC Officer – Weekend & Midweek Rotation

$21.50 Per Hour | Full Time | South Florida

Shift: Rotating (Weekend Mornings + Midweek Afternoons/Evenings)

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and technology-savvy SOC Officer to monitor and coordinate response across our client portfolio from a premier corporate command center. This role calls for sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

This post supports one of our most distinguished corporate accounts, where the standard for professionalism, presentation, and precision is exceptionally high – true concierge-level security.

This position requires approximately three weeks of hands‑on training and offers a rotating weekend/midweek schedule – a great fit for an officer who wants consistent, predictive hours outside a standard Monday–Friday rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems from the Security Operations Center
Dispatch officers and coordinate response to alarms, incidents, or emergencies across client sites
Respond to calls of distress or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and shift logs
Operate SOC monitoring platforms, incident reporting software, and email
Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and clear radio/telephone communication
Manage multiple simultaneous alerts and tasks in a high‑pressure environment
Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following:

Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience
Dispatch / Communications experience in a security or 911 call center environment

Requirements

Valid FL Security License
Valid FL Driver’s License
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Above‑average written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
Comfort working extended monitoring shifts, including early mornings and evenings
Ability to complete a structured multi‑week training program
Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
