Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a Full Time Command/Patrol Officer in Florida. The candidate will deter crime, respond to alarms and emergencies, and conduct routine patrols while maintaining professional conduct and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications include a FL Security D License, valid Florida driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug testing. Compensation includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

• Thursday: 3:00pm-11:00pm
• Friday: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Saturday: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Sunday: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Monday: 11:00pm-7:00am (Off Tuesday & Wednesday)

Requirements

• Valid FL Security D License
• Valid FL Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
