Job summary

The Adolphus in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and team members in a premier hospitality setting. The role focuses on patrolling the premises, controlling access, and promptly addressing incidents to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff.

Successful candidates will demonstrate vigilance, strong situational awareness, and the ability to diffuse conflicts while upholding the hotel’s standards of service and safety. This is a full-time position on site.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or non-guests/team members from the area
• Secure all exits and doors after end of operations
• Provide assistance with any injuries or incidents and investigate and document, as necessary
• Keen awareness of surroundings
• Extensive knowledge of the property and surrounding areas
• Ability to patiently and effectively diffuse a situation
