The Adolphus in Dallas, TX is seeking a Bellperson in Guest Services to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and deliver an exceptional arrival experience in a historic downtown hotel.

This full-time role requires you to walk the lobby, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while sharing knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions to help guests feel at home from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart.

Responsibilities

In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home.

This individual has a sincere demeanor that allows guests to feel like they are being welcomed home from the time they step out of their car until we see their tail lights. They have a knowledge of all of the happenings on property to ensure they are able to answer any questions the guests might ask them.

Requested Tasks

• Escort guests to room, delivery luggage, messages, packages and any other hotel items for the convenience of the guests
• Engage guests in a friendly and professional yet warm manner
• Ensure guest is familiar with the room features upon arrival (i.e. thermostat)
• Maintain presence in the lobby, when not delivering luggage to guest room, offering assistance to guests
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (luggage, packages, etc.)
• Approachable and professional personality
• Ability to read guests' and expect their needs
• Ability to read guests and anticipate their needs
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods at a time
