Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hosting a hiring event for Security Officers in Chattanooga, TN. The role pays $15.00 per hour and requires a TN security license, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Open availability, including weekends, is needed. Candidates must be 21+, have security and supervisory experience, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
• High School diploma or GED.
• TN Security License required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, including lifting 50+ lbs and patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Security management
• Other duties as assigned

HIRING EVENT: Security Officers

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $15.00/Hour

Date: 11/5/2026 from 8am-12pm, 1pm-4pm

Scheduling Requirements: Open availability
Weekend availability required
Must have a TN security license

Sign-on Bonus: $500, payable after 90 days of employment, provided there have been no infractions or policy violations.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• TN Security License Required
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
