Bally's is seeking a security officer in Cheyenne, WY to patrol racetrack grounds, grandstands, parking areas, and stables. You will monitor entrances, check credentials, and control access to authorized personnel while ensuring spectator and participant safety.

Responsibilities include observing risks, responding to emergencies, assisting with crowd management during events, and reporting incidents. The role requires excellent communication and composure in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Competenze

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or event security preferred.
• Ability to work overtime during major racing events.
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and security systems.

• Patrol racetrack grounds, grandstands, parking lots, stables, and restricted areas.
• Monitor entrances and exits, checking credentials and controlling access to authorized personnel.
• Ensure the safety and security of spectators, staff, horses, and racing participants.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security risks, or rule violations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, and fire alarms.
• Assist with crowd management during race events and special functions.
• Enforce venue policies and applicable laws while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct security inspections and monitor CCTV surveillance systems.
• Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports.
• Work closely with law enforcement, emergency responders, and race officials when required.
• Assist with evacuations and emergency procedures as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions and general inquiries.
• Strong observation and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and security systems.
• Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Long periods of standing, walking, and patrolling.
• Exposure to large crowds, loud environments, and live animals.
• May be required to work overtime during major racing events.
• Ability to walk several miles during a shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and navigate large venues
