Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to protect client sites across North America. You will provide safety procedures, enforce site policies, and be prepared to respond to emergencies, incidents, and unusual situations.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years in security or related fields and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. The role may require a valid driver’s license for driving positions and will involve on-site duties at various client locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to interact professionally with clients and visitors.

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• $22 / hour

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
