Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Illinois to safeguard clients across a range of industries. The role focuses on delivering customer service while enforcing safety procedures and site policies.

You will respond to incidents with composure and conduct regular patrols around client sites. Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, and passing background checks and a drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background checks in line with federal, state and local laws; Allied Universalwill consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions only

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner


• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
