Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve clients across commercial real estate, healthcare, education, government and more. You will enforce safety procedures and respond to incidents on site.

The position offers a pay rate of $23.13 per hour, with 1+ year security experience preferred, and requires background check and drug screen. Minimum age 18 (21 for armed roles), HS diploma or 5 years verifiable experience; driving license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and will be subject to a drug screen
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner


• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
